Sitting on the pavement I took out my AMWand and started waving the wand clock-wise over my wrist right away. Some passers-by helped me up on my feet. I didn’t feel well at all and I could see that something was probably broken but there was no swelling (the wand?). I decided to go to the emergency department at Karolinska Hospital in Stockholm.
The doctor told me that, yes, it was broken (radial bone). An X-ray showed that the bone was not in place and they tried to reset it but not successfully, so they put a cast and I had to come back the next day. I had been using the wand on my wrist all the time at the emergency department.
Next morning I went back to the hospital. With local anesthetics they put three pins through my skin into the bone to keep it in place, a new cast with elastic bandage around, gave me a prescription for pain-killers and I was sent home.
Back home I put my AMpendant in the bandage on top of the broken bone. The anesthetic was wearing off and I was waiting for the pain to come. But there was no pain! After 10 days I went back for a new X-ray, which showed the break was only 5% wrong which they considered satisfactory.
During this time I didn’t have any pain and I didn’t take one single pain-killer. The pendant was placed in my bandage all the time.
After five weeks, June 20, the cast and the pins were removed. I could move my hand a little but it was rather stiff. Now after two weeks mobility is back completely. I just have to get a bit more muscular strength.
Every day I feel a bit stronger.
During all this time I didn’t have any pain. The AMPendant was placed in the bandage and I was using the wand on my arm every day.
My sister had a similar accident with her wrist last year and she also put her AMpendant in her bandage with the same result as mine, no pain!
Thanks to the AMWand and the AMPendant!
